Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any other fees associated with my rental agreement?

Yes. There is a $50 reservation fee and a fully refundable security deposit that varies from property to property added to every lease. At this time there are no other fees or taxes.

I know that 50% of the rent + $50.00 reservation fee are due with leases within 10 days of receipt. What is the procedure for the balance?

We will send you a reminder about 45 days ahead of your vacation date. The fully refundable security is due with the second payment. Please keep in mind that no personal checks will be accepted within 15 days of arrival.

What if I make a reservation within 30 days of my planned arrival date?

We do not accept personal checks for any leases with arrival dates within 30 days and require the full amount along with a bank check or money order (leases within 60 days are payable in full, however, if check arrives prior to 30 days before arrival we will take a personal check).

What happens if I have to cancel my reservation after making a deposit?

Refunds will only be made if and when we re-rent the property for the week that has been canceled. The $50 reservation fee will not be returned.

What happens if I am late in arriving at the office for key pick up or want to check out early?

We have a drop box at the rental department entrance and your keys and driving instructions to your rental will be there clearly marked with your name. At check out you can leave the keys in the same box.

Are blankets and pillows provided?

Even though you need to bring your own linens for almost all of our properties, blankets, pillows and bed covers are provided.

What about pots, pans, dishes, glassware and flatware?

All of our properties are required to have sufficient utensils for the number of people allowed to occupy the property.

When will I get my security deposit back?

Security deposits are mailed within 3 weeks of your check out date. If there are damage or cleaning issues you will hear from us sooner.

Where can I rent linens and how do I arrange to pick them up?

See the link on our site to Cape Cod Linen rentals. They will drop them at our office for your pick up (and return here at check out) or for a fee they will deliver and even make the beds if you wish.

What about things to do, places to go and where to eat out?

There are many links on our site for activities, places to see and restaurants please take the time to check them out. At check in you will find literature both at the office and in your kit with all kinds of suggestions. Our rental agents will be happy to help with any questions.

My question doesn’t appear here, what do I do?

Call us at 888-255-2069 and we will be happy to assist you. We think Cape Cod is a special place and want you to visit and enjoy it as much as we do.
