All of our seacoast is rimmed by pristine beaches of soft sand, many backed by towering dunes. The warmer waters of Nantucket Sound and Vineyard Sound offer gentle waves, while the colder Atlantic more often provides big surf and surfboarding opportunities; beaches along Cape Cod Bay provide exciting tidal pool exploration.

National Seashore

Sticker Information: Seasonal Passes are $20. Daily fees are $7 to park, $1 to bike or walk in. Golden Eagle passes are $50; Golden Age card – good for life – $10 for 62 years or older. Golden Access Card, for those with disabilities are free. All passes are available from 8AM-4:30PM weekdays at National Park Headquarters, Marconi Site Road, South Wellfleet. Seasonal and daily passes are on sale from 9AM-5PM at the Salt Pond Visitor Center, Rte. 6, Eastham and all beach gates. Flotation devices and diving gear are prohibited at all National Seashore Beaches.

Sticker Information 2009: Resident stickers are free. Fees for visitors to Orleans are $50 per week and $110 for the season. Non-resident stickers are $150 for the season. Daily parking is $15. Season and weekly stickers are on sale at the Nauset Beach.
